Dr. Sydney McNeely was born in Southwest GA and raised right here in Leesburg. She graduated from Lee County High School and then completed her undergraduate training from Georgia Southwestern State University and the University of Georgia. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in 2021.

Following graduation, she worked at Southland Children’s Dentistry for one year after dental school and then was accepted into a 2 year pediatric dental residency in Augusta where she received specialized training in the treatment of healthy children and children with special needs. During her residency, she spent time working at The Children’s Hospital of Augusta to become specialized in hospital dentistry.

Dr. Sydney is married to Dr. Rick McNeely from Swainsboro, GA who also graduated from the Dental College of Georgia. They actually met on a dental mission trip in Haiti while in dental school. They have one son Murdock born in 2023 and another on the way!

Dr. Sydney is thrilled to be working back in her hometown and helping serve the community where she grew up.

When she’s not working, you will find her either spending time with her friends and family, reading a book, or spending time at the lake.
